First At Five is a weekly news broadcast that is shown on PBS in Gainesville, Florida every weekday at 5 p.m. As a Sports Anchor for the show, I am tasked in creating a sports live segment that provides news surrounding the sports in Gainesville, ranging from Gator sports to high school sports. Prior to my shift on Thursdays, I am responsible in filming whatever sporting event is taking place on Wednesday night, that way I can recap the game in the show the next day. During my shift, I am tasked in writing out my scripts, creating graphics and editing sport videos that will enhance the sports segment. Then when the show goes live, I am responsible in anchoring the three to four minute sports segment. Here are a few of the segments that I have done:
